Thin people do not have cellulite &#8211; Cellulite is related to the structures of the skin, so even thin women can present it. If you have thin skin, cellulite becomes more visible. This disorder is hereditary, if your mom has it, chances are that you too, but can also be caused by hormonal changes in pregnancy or aging.<br />
<br />
A tan can hide cellulite: This is another myth, that the tan fade cellulite can be even worse. This is because UV rays damage the skin making it thinner.<br />
<br />
A related truth is that cellulite reducing weight can be a good strategy to mitigate it. In a small 2006 study, improved the appearance of cellulite in 17 women who participated in weight loss under medical supervision (average weight loss was 30 pounds). However, nine women, cellulite seemed to worsen, especially if the skin was loose after losing weight.<br />
<br />
Some factors that worsen this condition are: a diet too rich in carbohydrates, an increase in total body fat, being inactive, or fluid retention. Therefore, a healthy lifestyle that incorporates exercise with proper nutrition will help us maintain a healthy and beautiful skin, or if you have cellulite, prevent it from getting worse, and even a little better.</p>
