If you are running, here are some tips to protect your skin and not only be well physically, but also aesthetically:

1) Hydrate: not just a matter of drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. Also become accustomed of sunscreen creams (both summer and winter) and lotions to avoid the impact of sun, cold and wind.

2) Take care of your feet, moving your feet can suffer extensive damage, and often noted especially in summer, when they are naked most of the time. Then:

- Wear shoes that do not compress too your foot so that the nails are blackened, and that hurt a lot and are very unsightly.

- And do not use shoes that fit you loose so you do not constantly go and rub the skin, hurting her.

- Use socks that absorb moisture (cotton, for example), and avoid blisters.

3) Dress appropriately: avoid the effect of rubbing on the skin by wearing Apply yourself with few seams or Vaseline around the body.

4) Lips, hair and eyes protected: extreme care in these sensitive areas when you’re very exposed to the sun, particularly in summer. For the lips, put on sunscreen, hair, use caps with visors, and eye, apply droplets to prevent dryness.

It is true that tanned skin is fashionable and can be attractive, but are you willing to pay a high price for it? Your health is at risk, so you must protect your skin from the sun.

The sun’s ultraviolet radiation (UVB and UBA) produce damage that can cause skin cancer and aging, causing wrinkles, age spots and dryness. In addition, decreased resistance and affect the eyes.

The skin has a memory and sun damage is cumulative, so it is necessary to protect all times, even on cloudy days, especially in developing outdoor chores.

The types of skin cancer that are related to sun exposure are basically divided into two groups: malignant melanoma – the most aggressive cancer and is fatal if not detected early – and the squamous and basal cell epithelioma.

Malignant melanoma is most commonly seen in fair-skinned people who have had occasional sun exposure and intense, with burns and blisters. You see it in the typical office worker’s case that throughout the year is not exposed to the sun but it burns holiday.

These are the most at risk of being Melanoma. Epitheliomas are more common in people who by their outdoor activities, whether sport or work, for example, farm workers or construction, are exposed to sun all year, “said Carolina Gardiol dermatologist.

Skin care is essential to avoid sun exposure between 11 and 17 hours. Find the shade. Use wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses with UV protection. Do not forget that dark-colored light clothing is best.

The shield or sunscreen should be placed about 15 minutes before sun exposure and replaced every three hours, at least in the most exposed areas. Make sure the sun protection factor (SPF) is equal to or greater than 30. The tanning bed is not recommended as it emits ultraviolet radiation harmful to them than the sun.
