The peel or chemical peel

A skin treatment that improves wrinkles blemishes and acne.

When the skin loses its translucent appearance is healthy because it is giving some signals. Some of them are evidence of the passage of time and the action of external agents such as sun, wind or smog. Acne or spots are also signs that the skin needs care, science offers various treatments and one of them is peeling or chemical peel. It can be done in the office to any healthy, nonsmoking want to look better.

Chemical peeling is one of the most popular non-invasive methods to improve the appearance of the skin. Apply on the face but can also extend to the neck, legs or back of hands. It can improve sun damage, scars, acne, age spots or liver disease, freckles, wrinkles, rough skin and static or expression. How I Do

First clean your face to remove fatty substances and prepare the skin to absorb the products. The acids used are usually the mandelic, glycolic, retinoic acid, lactic and salicylic acid, among others, according to the needs of each patient, which will exfoliate considering that deeper, more effects, but also more risks. The treatment is done in the office and can be repeated every 30 days, 6 months a year. In all these cases you should avoid sun exposure during the first days after treatment and use sunscreen at least two months.

Types of chemical peeling

Depending on the wear that causes the layers of the skin, the peel can be:

Suave: in case of dryness, acne, fine wrinkles. Remove only the outer layer of the skin or epidermis with mild exfoliation. Take a better look noticeable almost immediately.

Medium: for skin with acne, scars, wrinkles more visible, different skin tones. It removes the epidermis and upper layer of the dermis. Because it uses a combination of stronger acids can give skin burning and redness in the early days.

Strong: for skin with deep wrinkles, sun damaged skin or scars. Stronger chemicals are used to penetrate to the deeper layer of the skin. This treatment requires the application of local anesthesia to avoid discomfort, and previously required treatment with retinoic acid to refine skin surface and penetrate deep chemical solution. Gives very good results but need more recovery time
