Salt in cosmetic use

22 Aug

cosmeticDoctors recommend not going overboard with the salt in the diet, and knowing that we must hear them and that it causes, among other things, the swelling from fluid retention. But that does not mean that salt is excellent for cosmetic use.

The salt crystals are a great natural exfoliant. But cosmetic firms offer to us to use them, whether for a massage or scrub in the tub to place and receive a bath to help us relax and reduce inflammation. The grandmothers already knew and helped their swollen feet by putting them in a bowl with warm water and handfuls of salt.

Other cosmetic brands take advantage of sea salt or Dead Sea, which contain many beneficial properties for skin. The important thing is to verify that the texture of exfoliating salts is fine and soft as it should be polished and scratch and irritate. It should feel soft to the skin and prevent the application on the face, whose skin is very delicate.

One tip to note: if you like the effect of sea bathing left in your hair – take away a little shine but instead give very good volume and body – sprinkle a little salt water on your hair and comb as you want. Achieve that effect surfer hair that is so fashionable. Not to do so as long as the salt damages the hair, but occasionally it does not hurt and it goes to the next wash.
