Women Smokers More Prone To Acne

smokingBesides all the known problems such as respiratory, cancer and others, the addiction to snuff can cause various skin diseases. As shown by a study revealed that over 40% of people tested who consumed cigarettes every day developed the disease.

The study published by the British Journal of Dermatology London. Stressed City smoking can cause acne in women. The research, conducted by a team of Italian scientists found that women smokers are more likely to suffer acne than non-smokers.

The analysis, conducted among a thousand women, revealed how 42.2% of smokers develop non-inflammatory acne, compared with 10% who did not use snuff. Developed by a team of researchers from the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute, Rome (Italy), the report also warned that smokers who suffered acne had half the levels of vitamin E (good for the skin) than nonsmokers. Non-inflammatory acne is a form of this skin disease characterized by the presence of closed pores in the skin, small cysts, and white comedones black. The alleged link between the consumption of snuff and the presence of grains has always generated controversy because they are a multitude of factors contributing to the appearance of skin diseases.
