Some cosmetic allergy?

08 Apr

cosmetic allergyIt is very common to hear someone say that this or that product generates allergy, whether it is a cosmetic, cream, shampoo, perfume, lotion, etc… In fact, it is estimated that half of the world population has sensitive skin.

Due to the contact of the components of these products with skin conditions often occur as dermatitis, eczema or inflammation, which is exacerbated when there is damage or excessive dryness.

Other causes of such skin problems are related to specific body processes such as stress, hormonal changes, environmental pollution, weather changes, alcohol and snuff, aging, strict diets and insufficient rest.

Now it is sad to leave these products if we like, so we must find alternatives and carefully follow some guidelines:

- Do not use cosmetics on which you have no references.

- Consultation with a specialist about the products they should buy and keep up with its components.

- Do not be misled by the packaging, colors, appealing aroma, or advertising.

- Use hypoallergenic, ie containing no detergents, perfumes, colorings or preservatives irritants. Today the market offers a great variety.

- Pay special attention to products for infants or children because their skin is extremely delicate and does not yet have the necessary defenses to counteract negative effects.

- At the slightest sign of allergy in the skin or scalp, immediately suspended the use of the product. And if the reaction persists, consult a dermatologist or an allergist.
